North Texas has a 'cool' new company. Lux Ice, a company that makes and sells premium craft ice, has moved its corporate headquarters and manufacturing to Flower Mound. The company's 45,000-square-foot Flower Mound space has the potential to employ 100 people and produce 16 million pounds of Lux's chilly, spherical product. 'We envision a day where you go to a restaurant and they ask ‘Would you like regular ice or Lux?'' Lux Ice CEO Michael Crouse said. Lux's craft ice, unlike standard blocky ice, is shaped like an orb, crystal clear and melts much slower.
